Don't let the devil speak to you. Don't let him whisper lies, pretending to be God. You know those inner thoughts in your head? The ones saying you aren't good enough, smart enough, worthy enough, and competent enough? Those are just little seeds that the devil put in your head. Don't listen! Instead, grow the seed that you is of God. God's view of you says the opposite. You are loved, you are worthy, you are good enough, and you can do anything. God loved you and believed in you enough to send His Son to die for you! So, live for Him! Live for you. Live knowing that God loves you and wants only the best. Just remember. God's got this!

Reopened over 12 years ago, Pleasant Grove MBC has been a beacon of hope and community in Shelby County. Our commitment to serving God and nurturing each other as a family is at the core of everything we do.

At Pleasant Grove MBC, we involve our youth as well as us adults. Although we are a small church, we want the youth to know that going to church isn't about coming to the building, reading, listening to the sermon, and then leave. We want them to know that we are the church, not the building. We also teach them that going to Church can be fun! We are allowed to have fun and Worship at the same time.
